On the 25th February more than 100 people who have been deported from the UK and other European countries to the Kurdistan region of Iraq will demonstrate in front of the Kurdistan Regional Government to demand the government stop accepting deportations from Europe and organise compensation packages and employment for the deportees. 

Individuals and organisations including John McDonnell MP and Unite, the largest trade union in the country, have written to the Iraqi Government and the KRG demanding they stop accepting forcible deportations.

More than fifty-five people were deported to the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq early on Thursday morning, leaving from Luton Airport and landing in Erbil International. 

No deportations to Iraq!
