Fifty people arrested and detained for mass deportation to northern Iraq

Approximately fifty men originally from northern Iraq have been given deportation tickets telling them they will be removed to the Kurdistan Regional Government controlled area of northern Iraq.  They are currently being held in immigration prisons in Heathrow, Gatwick and Doncaster.

Iraqi detainee attempts suicide to stop being taken on mass deportation flight to Northern Iraq

Ibrahim Ali Karim, an Iraqi refugee being held in Colnbrook detention centre, tried to commit suicide last night when staff told him he was going to be deported to Iraqi Kurdistan the next day.

Demonstration outside Home Office to demand release of Iraqi detainees

More than 50 people gathered outside the Home Office in central London on Monday 26th October to demand the immediate release of Iraqi detainees who were deported to Baghdad two weeks ago, but were returned to detention after the Iraqi authorities refused to admit them.

Air Italy will fly no more charter flights for UKBA!

Following the UK government's cocked-up mass deportation by charter flight to the Iraq warzone last week (http://tinyurl.com/yf3zmsy), NCADC called on supporters to make their feelings known to the contracted Airline, Air Italy.
