Two Iraqi Kurdish refugees scheduled to be forcibly deported to
Baghdad on Monday 6th September escaped from Campsfield Detention Centre in
Oxford last night.
A mass deportation charter flight will leave
London early tomorrow morning forcibly deporting more than
fifteen Iraqi and Kurdish refugees to
Baghdad.
Another is planned for the 6th September, deporting more than fifty
people.
Iraqi refugees are being interviewed by Iraqi officials in detention centres around London in preparation for another charter flight to Baghdad, following a previous flight in July.
Ibrahim Ali Karim, an Iraqi refugee being held in Colnbrook detention
centre, tried to commit suicide last night when staff told him he was going to
be deported to Iraqi Kurdistan the next day.
